
Dr. Laura Katz
Dr. Laura Katz, originally from New Jersey, received her undergraduate degree from New York University. After volunteering at the Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City, she decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and accepted the Decades of Excellence scholarship to attend St. George’s University in the West Indies. She completed her clinical studies at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a one-year, small animal rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Katz worked as an emergency clinician in Rhode Island, New York and New Jersey.
Outside of work, Dr. Katz enjoys baking, traveling, and reading. She spends most of her free time with Joey, her Grenadian potcake hound, and her six nieces and nephews.
